BALLINA FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL 2017

We keenly support the Ballina Food and Wine Festival each year.   The festival has gained significant following, showcasing the generous bounty on offer in our world-class region.

The Main Festival Day features local producers with exhibition displays, information sessions and demonstrations.  Local boutique industries share their beautifully crafted products and growers tell us about their superb produce.

Patrons take advantage of restaurant chefs preparing signature dishes and of course, sample the variety of wines, beers, ciders and spirits available.

Our Active Pest team looks forward to the Gala Dinner each year and delights in its continuing success. This year the festival runs from Friday, June 30 over 3 days for 3 different events.  For all the information about Ballina Food and Wine Festival 2017, visit the official website here.

BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2017

Active Pest Management is a devoted sponsor and attendee of the annual Ballina Coast & Hinterland Business Excellence Awards, hosted by the Ballina Chamber of Commerce.  It is a night dedicated to recognising the achievements of local business innovators.  The Awards attract the who’s who of the area, with plenty of opportunity to network and celebrate another year of doing business in this beautiful Shire.

In 2013, we won the Business Excellence Award within the Trade & Manufacturing sector.   We revel in this win as welcome reward for all the hard work involved in growing a pest control business in this competitive region.

Again in 2016, we won for a second time, proudly showcasing our achievement in the arena of Workplace Health & Safety.  The well-being of our customers and likewise our staff, is of the utmost priority on a daily basis. We never lose sight of that fact.  As such, we are honoured our commitment to health and safety is recognised.   After all, our workplace is not just our offices and vehicles, it is your home and workplace, too.
